Kilo Bali- A New Dining Experience in Seminyak Bali
A very well Saturday evening, a friend of mine Ovie Sriwedari “A talented novelist of Selfie di Sarang Bule and new comer vlogger of Ovlog” invited me to celebrated her birthday. She asked me about a nice place to had a dinner around Seminyak. I had no idea for the first time, but later I remembered one post from Eat n Treat instagram by Hans Danial about new dining place in Seminyak, Kilo Bali. From what he already posted, I totally interested to visited Kilo Bali by looked at the food presentation, chef profile and of course the restaurant design. So this is what I can share…
A.
Location
Jalan Drupadi 22, Seminyak.
B.
What do we order
1.
Black and White Prawn Raviolis
5 pieces of black and white ravioli that filled with sweet seasoning
fresh prawn, served with sake butter cream, rocket, parmesan cheese and crispy
prawn.
Review: I like the cream, superb
yummy. The ravioli texture little bit
undercooked but it’s not a big problem as the filling taste was good. Foremost,
I like it and I recommend it.
2.
Beef Tongue Tacos
2 pieces of taco with beef tongue, apple miso slaw, roasted jalapeno and
garlic butter
Review: Honestly this is my
first time try beef tongue, the texture might be unfamiliar for me. But in my
opinion, the combination between beef tongue, apple and jalapeno was good,
tasteful.
3.
Fresh Watermelon Juice
I guess this one doesn’t require a review. But it’s good
4.
A Sure Thing
Home-made vanilla infused vodka, cucumber, mint, lime
Review: This is as per
recommendation from the staff. The presentation was pretty and yeah it’s a
girly drink. Haha.
C.
Service
A modern service, the hostess will ask your
email address and mobile number to
confirm your table.
D.
Restaurant Design
Indoor-Outdoor. I like the idea to use glass door and the indoor garden, especially the view looked stunning at evening.
E.
What to wear
Just simple nice dress, can be semi-formal
but still comfortable.
